ABOUT the IFPO

IFPO was established in 1988 by a group of security experts in the United States and Canada, and now has more than XX corporate and individual members around the world, including students in 42 countries. IFPO is built on the recognition that protection and security today call for a depth of expertise achieved only through solid, well-designed courses of study.

Many of our members are certified as protection and security trainers. We offer a wide range of long-distance learning courses, which can be completed through a self-paced schedule of home study. Some programs are available on-line and on CD-ROM. Many organizations include IFPO programs in their employee training.
