Some observations here: I'm not sure how many security officers there are on this video, but the numbers definitely seem in favor of the security/employees. That said, they should have been able to control the shoplifters with proper grappling techniques and handcuff them.

A witness who shot the video claimed the store employees were "Too aggressive" ... you mean after one of the shoplifters struck an employee with a closed fist?

And one for the reporting side of things -- police then "processed a report" ... does that man they arrested and charged the two shoplifters, or did the shoplifters get away and police spoke with witnesses and employees?

According to CBS 2, store managers say the two shoplifting suspects “tried to fight their way out of [the store]” once confronted. Stater Bros. released a statement, which said, “While one suspect was removing the unpaid merchandise from her bag, the other suspect struck our female employee in the face with a closed fist and then grabbed her by the hair and pulled her to the ground.”

Video of the incident appears to show one of the suspects holding on to the hair of a Stater Bros. employee.
