Close Protection Agent
The term "executive protection" has taken on many
different meanings in recent years. In the security industry,
it has become a key buzzword. Today, almost everyone claims
to have some level of executive protection expertise. This
series of courses defines executive protection as a system
of close personal protection, educational programs and contingency
planning which is applicable to all types of individuals-
not just executives. The material in this course will be
of definite value to anyone facing "targeted"
violence. The OCT level, builds upon the knowledge acquired
by students in the OBT and OST basic course work; it contains
9 hours of specific coursework in Executive Protection II,
Executive Protection III, Public Events III, Public Events
IV, First Aid, Homeland Security VII: Crisis Management,
HAZMAT, Fire Safety Basics, and Physical Security I: The
Fundamentals. The courses are delivered on-line or in CD-ROM
format.
