Entry Level Protection Officer (ELPO)

The ELPO course, produced by Advanced Systems Technologies (AST), according to IFPO standards, is a collaborative developmental effort between IFPO and AST. The course provides solid, basic training for security professionals or anyone considering a career in the security industry. It covers a broad array of topics in a user-friendly format. The course is equally well suited for individuals or groups, and offers the convenience of being Web accessible in addition to CD-ROM format. Users can log in when they have time, complete a lesson, then log out. When they return, they can resume from where they logged out and move on to the next lesson.

Some of the topic covered in this eight hour Entry Level Protection Officer course include: Introduction to Duties and Responsibilities, Professionalism and Ethics, Report Writing, Patrol Techniques, Traffic and Crowd Control and much more.

This particular program may be utilized to instruct a number of officers or students. Each student will receive a Record of Training at the end of these programs. The student may then purchase an IFPO Certificate of Completion for $10.00 upon request.
