Legal Concepts
Legal Concepts for Today's Security Officer provides essential insight into crucial legal concepts for the modern security practitioner. The course covers such important topics as felonies and misdemeanors, use of force, authority of the security officer, legal terminology, citizens arrest and the critical concept of "reasonableness." Considerable time is also spent on civil law, tort actions and the most common types of "negligence" encountered in the security industry. Legal Concepts provides general insight and will be an important resource for all security officers regardless of their specific industry or legal jurisdiction within the United States.

Each student will receive a Record of Training at the end of these programs. The student may then purchase an IFPO Certificate of Completion for $10.00 upon request.
