Are you a current security officer seeking a promotion?
A high school or college student or graduate pursuing your first job in the security industry?
Or a former military or law enforcement transitioning to civilian life?
The International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO) is now offering a free mentoring service. This isn't just a tutoring program; it's a relationship between a mentor and student.

Through this one-on-one mentoring relationship, students will receive support and guidance from a positive role model to encourage their personal character development and academic success in the security industry.

For many, a knowledgeable mentor can be the advantage needed to level-up, providing a different perspective on career and life matters.

Professor Curtis R. Blakely has generously offered his time and energy to assist others. If you are interested, please email Dr. Blakely here.

In addition to his academic accomplishments at the University of Wyoming, Blakely has served as a probation/parole officer for the State of Missouri, was a classification specialist for the New Mexico Department of Corrections, and has served as a police training specialist for the Union Pacific Railroad Police Department and for Eastern Kentucky University's Regional Community Policing Institute.
