Here's a note from Matt Parker of Independent Security Advisors: "ISA has a special request EP course in Charlotte North Carolina August 16th-22nd. Although not part of our normal 2021 schedule, seats are open to private investigators, detectives, private security, law enforcement, and veterans. North & South Carolina PIs and Detectives, PPSB, SCCJA approved CEUs available for graduating from this program. Virginia DCJS Personal Protection Specialist Credentials eligible Maryland PI license sponsorship to those qualified.

This is a non-scheduled special request course in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The (ISA DPP 101) is a fully accredited training program for law enforcement and private security endorsed by the International Foundation for Protection Officers.
This program voluntary adheres to the training standards of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETA) and provides specialized training to those who will conduct or support dignitary/executive protective service operations.

Stressing the basic methodology of “protection in-depth” and covering critical skillsets and the latest practices, all students at the completion of this training program will fully understand the basic philosophy, mission, and objectives for a protective service agent and the protective detail.
Students who attend this seven-day course will be faced with real-world scenarios based on events such as the June 26th, 2018 breach of security of Senator McConnell and Transportation Secretary Chao, and the earlier shooting of House GOP Whip Steve Scalise of Louisiana.

Although this program is open enrollment restrictions do apply and seating is limited, Law Enforcement and Veterans have first priority for seats.

This is not a "pay your fee get a certificate" course, currently, we have a 74% graduation rate with the majority of course failures on the written exam and capstone evaluations.

Special veteran and law enforcement tuition rate $990.00

IFPO members receive a $1000.00 tuition reduction for attending this course. The $1250.00 tuition rate is available to all members of the IFPO in good standing.
