"At the most recent meeting of the Security Commonwealth, IFPO UK’s application to join was approved unanimously, having previously been recommended by the SyCom Board. Sycom is an over-arching umbrella organisation which currently comprises of over 40 independent membership bodies across the security profession. It provides a forum to consult, inform and cooperate in the common interest and in the promotion of professionalism, best practice and information sharing to enhance UK security under the banner ‘together we are stronger.’ Our acceptance as a member is another sign of our growing recognition with the sector. We look forward to working collegiately with the other SyCom members.
