Gregg Howman appointed as IFPO representative in Qatar

As part of its continuing efforts to expand into international markets, the International Foundation for Protection Officers recently appointed Gregg Howman, BA, CPP, PCI, CPOI to serve as the IFPO Representative in the Qatar region.

After several discussions with Howman, IFPO Executive Director Sandi Davies felt confident he embraces the same goals and objectives as that of the foundation -- that providing educational opportunities and pathways will only
enhance the career possibilities of individuals pursuing their professional development.

As a bachelor-educated ASIS Board Certified CPP/CPI and an extensive career in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Howman brings a multitude of talents to the international security sector. Howman’s key areas of expertise include industrial/law enforcement and security supervision, security training and program development, security risk management, team leadership and development as well as security investigations.

Continuing education and professional development have always been an important element to Howman. His areas of study include international travel safety, complying to threat assessments and port facility
security.

“Gregg has an amazing track record and ability to provide excellent classroom instruction successfully," Davies said. "Not only is he a gifted instructor he can greatly aid in program development as he hosts incredible energy and drive. We are fortunate that Gregg has taken on this new challenge. On behalf of the entire IFPO Team we welcome Gregg and will support his every effort."
