From IFPO's Brian Baker:

Chris Hertig and Brian Baker represented IFPO at the ASIS Chapter 079 (Central PA) annual seminar on May 18, 2018. The event was held at the Milton Hershey School and featured an education and training program on
school security.

There were approximately 80 attendees representing school teachers and administrators, security consultants, and law enforcement.

A number of groups visited the IFPO during breaks between presentations and attendees were introduced to the mission of the IFPO and educational resources, as well as the CPO and CSSM certification programs.

Mike Nagurny, CPP, Security Manager for Highmark in Camp Hill, PA, was the recipient of complimentary copies of the IFPO text books. The Central PA Chapter 079 honored Highmark Security Supervisor Steve Hensley as Security
Professional of the Year.

One of the largest areas of interest attendees expressed to the IFPO was the existence of a comprehensive training and education curriculum for security staff that could be adopted by an organization needing a starting point for developing a security program and protective services team.
