*** Please note: There is a small unintentional misstatement in the conversation. Easton mentions building Afghani Army companies; however, his intention was to say Iraqi Army companies. ***

Tim Easton, former US Army combat engineer and now CEO of Missouri-based Castle Defense 360 Security Consulting, was gracious enough to sit down with IFPO Social Media Manager Ted Czech for a conversation recently.

In March 2020, the International Foundation for Protection Officers announced a strategic partnership with Castle Defense, a certified service disabled veteran-owned small business, known for its courses geared toward both first responders and the general public.

The conversation ranged from Easton's background in the military, making the transition from military to civilian life, and how Castle Defense was established.

Easton also spoke about Castle's new course, the Certified Security Operations Specialist (CSOS), a classroom, scenario-based 3-day program designed to add to current skill sets as well as offering advanced skill sets in order to efficiently and effectively operate in the new threat environment.

The course will be held in late August at the Force Center in Immokalee, Florida.
