On the 18th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers that took place on Sept. 11, it is imperative we remember all of the lives lost -- civilians, firefighters, police officers and security officers. Recently, we re-published a story on the 911 Memorial site from 2015 about a security officer who donated the blazer she wore to her job in the South Tower to the 9/11 Memorial Museum. She had lost 11 fellow officers that day. In response, Rick McCann, Founder-CEO, Private Officer International, sent out an email detailing the efforts of his organization to uncover and remember the names of at least 279 security officers who died in the 911 attacks.
