An introduction to the ISA Dignitary & Executive Protection Program from ISA CEO Matthew Parker --

All,

Welcome, and thank you for attending the ISA Dignitary & Executive Protection Program hosted by the D.P. Protection Agency. This program is fully accredited, and receives college and international recognition. This is not an easy certificate program, you will earn your certificates with course study, testing and hands on evaluations.

I have attached the syllabus and course overview (with references) for the July program, additional information is available from our web site at http://www.dignitaryprotection.us/training/. But feel free to contact me direct via cell at 315-486-7854 or email.  Also attached is the full registration packet. Please ensure this is filled out and you have it on day 1. Only the top sheet needs to be submitted to Mr. Brown.

This course also includes the terrorism awareness and community policing seminar on the 29th, this will tie into your threat assessment and planning classes.

Currently we are scheduled to conduct this course hosted by the D.P. Protection Agency,  July 24th - 30th from an office located at 8727 S. State St in Chicago. Class starts at 0800 and ends at 2000 normally. This may change as JT is looking for a location that is easier to get to because of traffic.  We will also be using several sites across Chicago so expect day trips and home work that require visits to different venues.

As with every class we will have a charity which ISA will make a class contribution. Our charity of choice for this class is the Shriners Children’s Hospital. A class donation from tuition will also be made available to a local charity selected by the class.

** Henley Putnam University will complete a review of your education and training towards college credit and I would look at their certificate program http://www.henley-putnam.edu/programs/entry-level-certificate-executive-protection/   to augment your education. You can contact Ms. Lorene Alexander with the HP admissions office for more details. She is former LEO and an exceptional resource for those getting ready to retire from law enforcement.

For civilians that would not normally be authorized the special tuition rates, the International Foundation of Protection Officers, A US based 501c3 non-profit  may be something to consider. Members receive the reduced tuition and can earn the certified protection officer (CPO) credentials. The IFPO is in the process of building its presence with the EP industry and we fully support their efforts. Join the IFPO and let them know you’re a ISA student to receive a discount membership.

Feel free to contact Ms. Alexander and Ms. Davies of the IFPO for more information on their programs, and I am available to answer any questions you have about our course.

Special guest speakers include:

The former director of security for the Speaker of the House of Representatives Paul Ryan

Director of marketing for US Security Associates

Other subject matter experts

We are looking forward to working with all of you.
