Inventory Management Technology and Employee Theft

[two_three_first]

The folks over at Shopinventory.com recently posted an article on the Effect of Inventory Management Technology on Employee Theft.

“First, the most common scams would be impossible to catch consistently with other available monitoring methods. Second, software is not only more effective at identifying suspicious behavior, it is also ‘always on,’ and improves on inconsistent detection methods like management spot-checks to monitor employee behavior, [which] can easily miss theft” Jeff Hindman, vice president of NCR Corporation.

Not only does the article discuss mid and large sized stores, but they also break out the 'mom and pop' variety.
