Santa Clarita County CA June 30 2019
On Tuesday evening around 11 p.m., deputies responded to the 22400 block of Georgia Lane in Saugus regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call, said Shirley Miller, a spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“The victim works for a security company and was in his vehicle, writing a citation for an abandoned vehicle, when the suspect approached him shouting profanities,” Miller said.

The victim heard the sounds of something striking the side of his vehicle, and stated it sounded like a “B-B gun or airsoft gun of some sort.”

The suspect has a reputation of causing problems with security officers in this location, according to officials.
The security officer was not injured, according to Sheriff’s officials.

Jeremy Cash, 27, of Saugus, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after being found to be in possession of a B-B gun, which was booked in as evidence, Miller said.

Cash was arrested and transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail with bail set at $30,000, according to arrest records.
