Alternative media source, Unicorn Riot, has been covering the Dakota Access Pipeline protests in Iowa -- and oftentimes getting arrested in the process. Citing UR's video and reports, Twitter member Martie Simmons asked the IFPO via its Twitter account about its position on an On Point security officer allegedly stomping a protester.

Here is the IFPO's official statement on the video:

"While all of the facts in the incident are not known at this time, the IFPO upholds the highest standards of ethical security practices around the world. If an investigation is opened into the incident, then the IFPO awaits the results."
