SPRINGFIELD, Mo Police say a private security officer exchanged gunfire with another man. It happened inside a mobile home park in the 1500 block of south Golden just north of Sunshine Wednesday morning.
Police say the security company stepped up patrols in that area because of recent burglaries.

When the security officer confronted the man, that man fired a shot toward that officer and the security officer returned fire. No one was hurt.
Police are looking for the gunman.
