CHARLESTON, S.C. April 14 2018 -- Authorities arrested a suspect in the armed robbery of an armored truck earlier in the week and now sheriff detectives have arrested a second person.

The robbery occurred of the armored car robbery happened in Dorchester County.
Robert Lee Brown II, 27, of Charleston is charged with Armed Robbery and his bond was denied Friday morning according to Dorchester County Sheriff's Office spokesman Captain Tony Phinney.

Dorchester County Sheriff's Office had arrested 31-year-old Rashad Dingle of North Charleston one day earlier.
The two arrests in this case were a cooperative effort with Goose Creek Police Department, North Charleston Police Department, the US Marshalls Service, SLED, the FBI Field Office/Charleston and the Charleston Police Department said a police spokesperson.
